We are aspring Competitive Coders who one day dreams to represent our college UEMK in ACM-ICPC. We code and help others to code.We organise events, workshops and host competitions on Codechef solely for students of our campus to make them aware about the nitty gritty of Competitive Coding. To those who are new to this term, Competitive programming is a mind sport usually held over the Internet or a local network, involving participants trying to program according to provided specifications. Contestants are referred to as sport programmers. Competitive programming is recognized and supported by several multinational software and Internet companies, such as Google,and Facebook.There are several organizations who host programming competitions on a regular basis. Through Competitive Coding we seek to enhance our problem solving abilites and analytical skills to crack Coding Rounds in Placement Interviews.
UEM Kolkata is established in the year 2014 by Act No 25 of 2014 of Govt of West Bengal. Being located in New Town, the Smart City of Eastern India and very near to the Netaji Subhash International Airport, the students of the University are exposed to the top corporates. UEM Kolkata has stood one out of the top 10 institutes of India including all IITs and all NITs of the country in the NPTEL program ranked by IIT Kharagpur and IIT Chennai. Students from our College has won in various Coding competitions, won awards in Hackathon and qualified for ACM-ICPC Regionals.

Topcoder is a company that administers contests in computer programming.Topcoder hosts fortnightly online competitive programming competitions—known as SRMs or "single round matches"—as well as weekly competitions in graphic design and development. The work in design and development produces useful software which is licensed for profit by Topcoder.
CodeForces is a Russian Competitive Coding Site. They offer regular contests and good quality editorials.
